Twins Aidan & Niall Pollitt representing the Clontarf Team have took the Dublin Snooker Federation Snooker League Title for the first time.  The Clontarf Team played great snooker throughout the league with some fine results against the leagues top players on their way to the title.

The Griffith Club took the runner up place closely followed by Sportslink in 3rd.  The Griffith Club has dominated the league over the years and this win by Clontarf certainly shows that anything can happen if you put your mind to it and this is exactly what Aidan & Niall did throughout the 18 weeks of the league.

This season was the closest result so far as there was only 4 points separating 3rd spot and 1st with 2 points making the difference in the end.

Congratulations to the Clontarf Team on taking the league title and well done to the Griffith Club on their runner up spot.

Aidan Pollitt (Clontarf) took the Individual title with Darragh Hackett (Griffith Club) runner up.

Congratulations to Aidan on his win and to Darragh on his fine performance.

A big thank you to Joe Lyons of Sportslink and the team for facilitating the second half of the league after Joey’s closed in December 2018.

Thanks to Derek Fagan and staff of Joey’s for all their help and support over the years of hosting the leagues where memories and good friendships were made.
