5 times former National Ladies Snooker Champion, Ann McMahon is the RILSA most International Capped player, after months of collating information on players who have represented Ireland on the International & World stage between 1978 -2004 & from 2014 onwards.
Ann has 15 caps for Ireland, accumulated over 20 years of competition. Her first cap was earned at the WLBSA World Championship in 1993 and with 14 more events at European, Home Internationals and WLBSA events, she is a well-known figure within female cue sport here in Ireland.
Congratulations to Ann on having made it to 15 caps for her Country and we at RILSA appreciate her input, support and success on the International scene over the years. Ann did her Country proud and her Association RILSA.
After reaching the last 32 of the World Championships in Woking Surrey UK in 1993, Ann went on to finish 3rd in Pontins at the 1997 Home Internationals along with team players Greta Browne & Paula Darby.
In 2002 Ann reached the semi finals of the European Ladies Championship. The inaugural Ladies International Irish Open saw Ann reach the semis of the main event and went one better in 2016 winning the International Ladies Irish Open at Joey’s Dublin.
