Annette Newman continued her 100% unbeaten record in women’s Billiards at the RILSA Academy Sharkx recently with some good results over Valerie Maloney, Christine Carr and youngster Roisin Beale.  Annette had a close match against Tina Keogh on the evening but her point tally was the overall factor in her win.

Tina was runner up with 3 wins over Valerie, Christine and Roisin to put her level on points on the National Rankings with Championship R/Up Valerie, however Tine now moves into number 2 spot on merit points with Valerie dropping into 3rd.

Christine is 4th while our newcomer Roisin Beale is in a good 5th place on the National Billiards Rankings.

Congratulations to Annette on her great win and maintaining top place in women’s Billiards and well done to Tina on her great performance and in doing so resumes her number 2 spot.

Well done to all the girls for their participation and support towards RILSA Billiards and there is certainly improvement all the time among these players who I’m sure will make progress during the season ahead.

Thanks to Paul & Bernie of Sharkx for their hospitality and support.  We look forward to the next Ranking in April at the Academy.  Thanks to our National Billiards Coach Aidan Murray for his much appreciated help and support with our women’s billiards and refereeing on the evening.
