The recent Plate Competition held at the Intermediate National Championship in D’Arcy McGees Dublin was won by Christine Carr from Kildare in a close final match against Tina Keogh from Laois.

The final was nip and tuck between these two players as the standard is very similar.  Frame 1 went to Christine with Tina responding well in frame 2 to level the match.  Frame 3 went all the way down to the black ball which Christine potted to take the win.

Well done to Christine on her win and to Tina on a great performance.  Thanks to all the players for their participation.

We look forward to see all our players back on the green baize come September when the competition fires up as the tour kicks off.

In the meantime we have the National 6 Red Championship on Saturday 13th July, venue yet to be decided, and our International Irish Open in August, so a busy summer ahead for RILSA.
