As part of the RILSA ongoing initiatives within the Schools & Youth Reach Centres around Ireland, Fergal O’Brien has teamed up with RILSA in their promotions.

Fergal’s visit to St Laserians Special School in Carlow, where RILSA have a full size snooker table donated, was a fantastic success.  The teachers and students were thrilled to have Fergal at the school, after a few frames of snooker where every student had a shot or two with Fergal, a number of students had some questions for him, then it was on to signing autographs and photos.

This visit by Fergal is one of many that he will undertake over time and we really appreciate his time and support towards growing the sport within our organisation.

John and deputy Principal Deirdre were delighted to have Fergal visit and he is welcome anytime to the School.  The students were excited to see Fergal and show them some shots on the table, Fergal’s rapport with the students is fantastic, they all had a great time.

A big thank you to Fergal O’Brien for taking time out of his busy schedule to visit St Laserians in Carlow and we look forward to seeing him at the school again in the future.

On behalf of RILSA we thank Fergal for his help and support and we are looking forward to working with him over the coming season with us.  We wish Fergal every success for the future.
