The Griffith tour Championship got underway on Saturday 8th September at Sharkx snooker club, Newbridge. This being the final event where pass4sure 1Z0-517 the big money prizes were at stake meant for some quality tactical play and safety bouts during the days competition. Our veteran of the game Larry O’Dea went through to the semis beating Robert Rogers 2 nil. Anthony Clifford was put to the pin of his collar by Gary Seales levelling the match at 1-1 but Anthony eventually came out the victor to meet Larry in the semis. Dan Carroll went through to the semis beating Annette Newman 2 frames to nil with breaks of 34 and 40. Dave Seales scraped through a tough encounter with Paddy Fagan to complete the semi-final line up. Anthony Clifford was now firing on all cylinders with quick consecutive breaks of 42 and 31 took the first frame and fired in a 57 to take the match and put him in with a chance of the top prize. The match between Dave Seales and Dan Carroll was very close with the frames going down to the wire but Dave came through 2 nil to reach the final. Anthony pass4sure 1Z1-868 was still firing in the breaks and Dave came back strong but to no avail. Anthony was the best player on the day and deserved the match and title of Griffith Tour Championship winner 2012. Congrats to Anthony on his win and to Dave on his fine performance. Thanks to all the players who took part in the tours and championship this season. A special word of thanks to Bernie and staff of Sharks for again providing excellent conditions for these events.
