The Joey’s team made up of Aaron Holland, Mick Walsh and Derek Walsh took the Dublin Snooker Federation League Title with fantastic match wins all through the season. They won all their matches only dropping 10 frames throughout. Aaron Holland and Mick Walsh topped the rankings 1 & 2 respectively.
Their win equals that of the Classic and the Griffith Club. They will be out to make it 4 wins in 4 years next season, hoping to make a new record.
The Griffith Club made up of Dave Seales, Darragh Hackett and Gary Seales, were the Runners up and can be proud of their result as the Griffith Club have dominated the Dublin Snooker Federation Leagues right from its establishment, having won it 3 times and runners up in the last 4 seasons and were runners up on 3 other occasions.
Congratulations to the Joey’s team on their fantastic win and retaining the title, congrats to the Griffith team on their fine performances throughout and we thank all the other teams from Century City, D13’s, Mountjoy and Sportslink for their support and help in making the Dublin Snooker Federation such a great success.
Thanks to all the host clubs for staging the league in providing table time at reduced rates.
A new format for the leagues will be introduced for next season to include two divisions with the possibility of a 3rd.
Details will be published later in the year
