Young Katie French from Kildare and representing Ireland at this years International Irish Ladies Open, retained her 6 Red title event at Joey’s Dublin in a very close contested final with former 6 Red Irish Open winner, Tina Keogh from Laois and representing Ireland at this years International also.
Katie stormed into a 2 frame lead in this best of 5 final but Tina stuck in and took frames 3 and 4 to level the match and put pressure on Katie, however Katie was playing well and took the 3rd frame needed on the colours to win the match and become the first player to retain the 6 Red title in this festival of events at Joey’s Dublin.
Congratulations to Katie on her win and to Tina on a fine performance.
Again we want to thank everyone so much for their help, support and dedication to our organisation.
