The Republic of Ireland Ladies Snooker Association is now ready to host their 2nd International Event next weekend at Joey’s Snooker Club Dublin.

The Inaugural event in 2015 was a fantastic success and again we are about to see ladies take to the green baize at Joey’s to see who will take the title, also up for grabs is the Intermediate and 6 Red titles at the weekend.

Ireland’s Cathy Dunne who took the Intermediate title last year is hoping to go one better this time out, also in the mix will be 4 times National Champion Ann McMahon and current Irish number 1 Annette Newman.  Sandra Bryan the current number 2 will be looking to do better this time, as with all our participants they will be gunning for this title.

Valerie Maloney who took the 6 Red title last time out will be hoping also to go further as will Tina Keogh the 6 Red runner up from last year.

With players representing Ireland, England, Albania, South Korea and Brazil it’s going to be another fantastic success for RILSA as we continue with our promotions for women’s snooker.

We are also supporting the Snooker Shoot Out that’s in aid of the St Francis Hospice and we have facilitated the organisers with the use of the Championship Table and seating for this important event following the Ladies Irish Open weekend, so a lot of snooker in store over the week.

The 6 Red International Event will now support the fundraising towards the St Francis Hospice and we encourage you all to come along over the weekend and buy a ticket or just donate a few euros for this worthy cause.
