The Leinster Snooker Federation Snooker Leagues are 8 weeks into their first season and the team players are all enjoying their matches.  The Griffith team from Carlow made up of Annette Newman and Dan Carroll are holding top spot with a 16 point advantage over the Laois team made up of Tina and Robbie Keogh.

3rd place team from Morristown Kildare, John Dempsey & Richard Cullen are only 3 points behind Laois.  The remaining teams, Sharkx A, Sharkx B, Ballymany, and Cloneygowan are still in the mix with very little points separating them at this point, so still all to fight for as the first half of the season continues over the next 5 weeks, where we may see the gap closing.

Robbie Keogh is top of the leader board in the Individual ranking on 38 points closely followed by Dan Carroll in 2nd on 37 points, Annette Newman is 3rd on 33 points and Leon Costello holds 4th spot on 30 points.

The top 5 players on the final ranking will represent the Leinster Snooker Federation in a regional championship against the Dublin Snooker Federation’s top 5 in a two leg event in 2018 with a separate event for all other players in both regions also.
