Ng On Yee from China Hong Kong took the Ladies World Snooker title at the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds UK recently in style. Ng On Yee was up against veteran UK player Emma Bonney in the final. Emma started well taking the first two frames, but Ng On Yee came back strong to level the match 2-2 at the interval. Once back to the table from the interval, it was Ng On Yee who stepped up a pace and went on to win the next 4 frames to give her the win and title. Emma Bonney was very gracious in defeat and congratulated Ng On Yee on her win.
We at the Republic of Ireland Ladies Snooker Association congratulate Ng On Yee on winning the World Championship and we wish her every success for the future and also well done to Emma Bonney on her fine performance.
