The Dublin Snooker Federation Individual event took place recently at Joeys Snooker Club Dublin. The standard of play was high on the day with player representatives from the various clubs from the league take part. Ronan Deegan last years Champion was in fine form and reached the final  beating Mick Walsh of Joeys 2-0, Simon Scott of Sportslink 2-1, Dave Seales of Century City 2-0 with breaks of 25, 29, 32, and 36. In the other half of the draw Fran Lanigan had some very close matches all going down to the final frame and colours to take him through to the final, beating along the way Kevin Lyons (Sportslink) 2-1, Paddy Glynn (Racecourse) 2-1 and Liam Evans (Joeys) 2-1 with breaks of 20, 25.

In the final Ronan had a great break of 46 to secure frame 1 and with breaks of 20 & 31 in the second to take the title for the second time. Congratulations to Ronan on his win and to Fran for his fine performance on reaching the final. Congratulations to Simon Scott on winning the plate competition and to Kevin Lyons  on runner up spot. Both from Sportslink a good result for the club. Thanks to Derek Fagan and Keith for the usual great hospitality and providing excellent playing conditions on the day.
