The Republic of Ireland Ladies Snooker Association continue their programme in coaching during the past number of weeks as the weather heats up in Ireland. Snooker Clubs across the Country are suffering the consequences of the good weather with many players using the opportunity to soak in the heat wave.
However we in RILSA are encouraging our players to get to their clubs for some practice during the evenings and we have a number of players who support this each week by taking part in club events and coaching at our Academy in Newbridge.
Our scholarship players, Roisin Beale, Rachel Bradley and Jennifer Earle are making use of the facilities at our Academy during the summer also attending weekly events at the Academy are Annette Newman, Tina Keogh and Christine Carr while Rosie Young, Valerie Maloney, Stephanie Morrison and Deirdre McGrath have attending coaching sessions in both snooker and billiards over the past 8 weeks.
Paula Judge and Cathy Dunne are members of the Celbridge Club while Michelle O’Boyle and Katie French support the CYMS in Newbridge, are all keeping up practice each week at the clubs
Those who are entered into our upcoming International Irish Open at Joey’s Dublin in 9 days time are really looking forward to the event.
We at RILSA thank all those players who attending coaching and support events in their local clubs.
