The RILSA International 6 Red Event took place recently at the festival of snooker at Joey’s Dublin and in a repeat of last years final Tina Keogh came out the winner

this time against best friend Valerie Maloney in a black ball decider in the final frame.

With 18 entries alone for this event, Tina saw off Helen Deegan (Irl), Sarah Perdue (Irl) and Emirjeta Doda representing Albania this year in 2-0 wins to reach the final once again.

In the other half of the draw Valerie also in good form saw off Louise Richards (England), Suzanne Hannon (Irl) and Toni Mockler (Irl) 2-0 to meet Tina in the final.

Both players were in great form and levelled at 1-1 and again in the final frame it came down to a black finish with Tina potting for match and taking the title of 6 Red RILSA International Irish Open Champion 2016

Congratulations to Tina on her win and to Valerie once again for a fine performance.  A big thank you to all the ladies who took part and helped make this competition such a great success.
