Since the inaugural ladies National Billiards Championship in December 2015, women’s billiards has seen some 14 players take up the sport here in Ireland.

As we near the end of the 2018 season, we see the standard rise among all our players, this has meant that we now have a Intermediate National Championship with 3 National ranking events along with the National Amateur Championship and 5 National rankings set in place as we make progress in the sport.

We would love to see more women and young girls take up the sport in the near future.  Aidan Murray our National Billiards Coach will conduct coaching sessions for any of our members who wish to try out the sport.  Just make contact with us on rilsasnooker@gmail.com and we will organise a suitable date and time for you to get started.

In the meantime women’s billiards like snooker will receive high break prizes during the 2019 season
