We held another Coaching Workshop at the RILSA Academy Sharkx Newbridge for our newest members from the Holy Family School Newbridge who were excited to play cue sports.

Over the past two years we have seen over 400 young girls from the Holy Family School Newbridge attend a number of coaching workshops at our Academy.  We will see hundreds more attend the Academy during the year

Female Cue Sports Ireland have commenced their School Initiatives at our All Girl Schools with open days and coaching from our own Professional Snooker and Billiards Coaches

We are delighted to have these young girls as members of our Organisation and we wish them all the best in cue sports in the years ahead

With a table now situated at the Holy Family School Newbridge, we see many girls taking to cue sports who would have otherwise not thought of playing snooker, billiards and pool but because of all our hard work at Female Cue Sports Ireland, we see the fruits of our labour developing across our schools

Many of the schools have initiated leagues and allocated time for the girls to play and enjoy cue sports.

Just by having a table at the Holy Family, means that 1000 girls at the School now have access to cue sports where grass roots are.

We thank all the teachers and our trained coaches at the school for joining our programme.  They are the backbone to encouraging young girls into sport.  Thanks to Dearbhail Dowling who coordinates these days for us.

All those in attendance were delighted with the day at Sharkx Newbridge and are more inclined to play more cue sports at both the school and the club
