World Snooker Federation – Women’s Snooker

  World Snooker Federation Championships The World Snooker Federation (WSF) has today announced the beginning of its own official WSF Championships, which will run from 14-24 March 2018. The event will be played at the Dolmen Hotel, Malta and provide new and exciting opportunities for amateur players. The winner of the main WSF Championship will receive a first prize of €10,000 and earn a two-year tour card for the World Snooker Tour.   Tina Keogh joined RILSA in 2014 when she was at one of the Stars Academy events that her son Robbie was participating in at Joey’s Dublin.  She immediately got the bug for playing snooker after a few coaching sessions and hasn’t looked back since. RILSA INTERMEDIATE SNOOKER UPDATE

Since the Republic of Ireland Ladies Snooker Association introduced Intermediate standard snooker to its promotion programme in 2014, the number of women and young girls taking up cue sports has increased greatly. This new initiative by RILSA is one of many ways to get women and young girls into the sport.
