
Claire Mill from Dublin is currently provisional number 1 on the RILSA National Amateur Snooker Rankings up from number 2 last season. Claire is hoping to become the true Irish number 1 by the end of an already very successful season on tour to date.
Cathy Dunne from Dublin is up from 14th last season to number 2 showing great resolve on the tour this season as she fights for the number 1 spot she held back in 2004 but has been a top 4 player on many occasions
Joanna Ward from Kildare is at number 3 on the rankings so far showing a great season for her, up from 12th last season. Christine Carr from Kildare is at 4th spot only down from 3rd last season. Jackie Trulock from Dublin sits in 5th spot at the moment and is trying to get a top 4 place at least by the end of the season up from 7th place.
In at 6th spot after participating in all the RILSA tour events to date is a newcomer Brigid Mulvany from Dublin and she is delighted with her standing. Youngster Qianhui Ye from Wicklow is improving all the time and after a great season last time finishing 6th on tour she is just down provisionally to 7th spot. Veronica Hallahan from Dublin is holding 8th spot at the moment down from a great 5th place last season after some good results on tour and she is looking to remain in the top 8
Our current Irish number 1 Annette Newman from Carlow is provisionally number 9 on tour. Annette is the current record holder having held number 1 for 9 seasons and after missing a number of events this season due to injury, she will be happy to finish in the top 8 this time round
Margaret Browne from Meath is down two places from 8th last season to 10th spot provisionally again like Annette is out due to injury and has kept within the top 8 on many occasions on the RILSA tour. Lynda Curley from Offaly is up to 11th from 16th last season and is very capable of a top 8 by seasons end. Tina Keogh from Offaly is up from 13th last year to 12th at the moment and would like to finish in the top 8 also
Our current National Snooker Champion Margaret O’Driscoll from Kerry finished 4th last season and has dropped down to 13th again missed a few events and is a former Irish number 1 in 1991 and 2002 so very capable indeed. Louise Maher from Kilkenny has jumped up from 27th last time round to 14th spot so far and is looking to finish in the top 16. Sandra Bryan from Wexford is down from 10th to 15th so far and is danger of dropping out of the top 16 by seasons end for the 2015 former Irish number 1
Natashia Trochonowicz from Kildare is another youngster on tour and is up from 26th last season to 16th place so far and is hoping to stay in the top 16 this time as she shows great promise like Qianhui on tour
Valerie Maloney from Laois has dropped just outside the top 16 so far holding a provisional spot at 17th and is very capable of making it back into the top 16 at the end of the season.
Number 11 from last season Stephanie Foley from Carlow has dropped to 28th on the National ranking again all down to ongoing injury problems and Jennifer Earle from Dublin is down from 15th spot to 29th so far but is hoping to get back up to a top 16 spot
