Jackie Trulock from Dublin won her second National Amateur Billiard Ranking event of the season at the RILSA Academy Sharkx Newbridge recently
In this round robin timed event many of the matches were close and the scoring was not as high as previous events mainly due to the very humid conditions. The players struggled to get form for the most part
Session 1 saw Jackie Trulock from Dublin take the win against Annette Newman from Carlow on the alarm 52-29. Christine Carr from Kildare took the win in a close match against Valerie Maloney from Laois 42-38
Session 2 Annette took the win against Veronica Hallahan from Dublin 47-32 and in yet another close encounter Jackie pipped Valerie on the alarm 46-41
In session 3 Jackie continued would see off a challenge from Christine and finished strong as the minutes ticked down to take the win 63-46. Veronica took the win against Valerie 37-29 on the alarm
Session 4 saw Annette finish strong against Valerie to take the win 63-33 and Christine would secure the win against Veronica by just 1 point on the alarm 43-42
In the final session Christine took the win against Annette 51-38 and Veronica took the win against Jackie 41-32
With the points tallied it would be Jackie taking the win with Annette in Runner up place with only 6 points separating them, Christine was 3rd and Veronica 4th on the evening
