The RILBA Matchplay Challenge Cup was held while the finals of the Matchplay were underway at the RILSA Academy Sharkx Newbridge recently.
Joanna Ward from Kildare had to dig deep in the final round robin match against Natalia Trochonowicz also from Kildare and just pipped the youngster on the alarm by 1 point to take the Challenge Cup win
The other contestants Veronica Hallahan and Brigid Mulvany both from Dublin had a good event with improved scoring throughout the event
Congratulations to Joanna on her win and well done to Natalia on her runner up spot. Natalia is one to watch out for in the future as she is improving her Billiard skills all the time and getting good results on the Billiards tour
