As our National Schools Academies gain momentum in development of Snooker, Billiards and Pool, our coaches at School level are busy encouraging young girls to take up cue sports
Today we are aware that hundreds of young girls are playing cue sports throughout our Academies in our member Schools
The Holy Family All Girls School in Newbridge have been involved now for the past three years with a table in the school and hundreds of girls attend coaching days and leagues over 12 weeks at the RILSA Academy Sharkx Newbridge, the girls are delighted to have this opportunity to play cue sports just for fun and those who are interested in progressing their skills and play competition are afforded the coaching and facilities to do that.
Much of our development in this area is to encourage well being, social interaction and fun to bring together all our members in an environment where they are encouraged, accepted within cue sports to play at any level they wish and enjoy
The girls that attended the recent coaching day at the RILSA Academy were delighted and excited to become part of our growing organisation for female cue sports in Ireland
