In the Quarters Anna McKeown from Monaghan had a good win over Christine Carr from Kildare to put her into the semis. Tina Keogh from Offaly had a good win over Veronica Hallahan from Dublin to set up a meeting with Anna in the semis
At the bottom half of the draw Jackie Trulock from Dublin overcame a good challenge from Joanna Ward from Kildare to take the win on the colours in the frame needed to advance and Valerie Maloney from Laois had to dig deep against the current U21 Champion Qianhui Ye from Wicklow to get through to the semi finals
In the semis Tina proved the stronger against Anna the youngster from Monaghan to take the win and a place in the final. On the other table Jackie got the better of Valerie on the colours to get the frame needed for a place in the final against Tina
The final itself would go all the way to the colours once more with Tina picking them off to take the win
Congratulations to Tina on her win and well done to Jackie on her runner up place. Thanks to all the ladies for their participation and support. Thanks to Bernie, Paul and Leon of Sharkx for all their support towards female cue sports
