Veronica Hallahan from Dublin has won her first RILSA National Intermediate Snooker Ranking event at the Celbridge Snooker Club recently. It is so well deserved for the Dublin woman after two seasons on tour her dedication to cue sports is beginning to pay dividends
At the semi final stage of the event Veronica Hallahan from Dublin won the frame needed to advance to the final against the up and coming youngster from Wicklow, Qianhui Ye. On the other table Jackie Trulock from Dublin won her match against Brigid Mulvany from Dublin to meet Veronica in the final
The final itself was a close affair with Jackie having chances in the frame needed, however Veronica potted the last few colours to take the win and her first on tour
Congratulations to Veronica on her win and well done to Jackie on her runner up place, thanks to all the ladies for their participation. Thanks to Martin Foley who refereed the final. Thanks to Jo, Phil and staff of the Celbridge Snooker Club for all their support
