Annette Newman from Carlow has secured her RILSA Amateur Snooker Number 1 ranked player for the 9th Season on Tour out of the last 11 seasons and on the other two occasions, Annette only dropped to 2nd spot, an amazing achievement for the Carlow woman.  Showing her dedication, participation and overall strength as one of Ireland’s top Amateur players on the Snooker Tour.

As Annette retained her number 1 spot from last season and 9th overall, we see Claire Mill from Dublin retain her number 2 spot on the RILSA Snooker Rankings and the previous two seasons Claire held 3rd spot, showing great dedication and overall improvement on the Snooker tour

Christine Carr from Kildare made great progress this season moving into 3rd place up from 7th last season, likewise Margaret O’Driscoll from Kerry and our 8th times National Amateur Snooker Champion make it to 4th place up from 12th lase season, a great result for her on the tour also.  Veronica Hallahan from Dublin showed much improvement in her game as she is up from 11th to 5th this season and in at 6th place is our youngest ever player to make the top 8 in their first season is Qianhui Ye from Wicklow who will be a force to reckon with in the years ahead.

Jackie Trulock from Dublin is down two places from 5th to 7th this season after a good season on tour, so well done to her on retaining a top 8 place.  Up from 27th last season is our veteran Margaret Browne from Meath at 8th place and well deserved after a good run on the tour this season, Margaret has been a tough player over many years on tour having held a top 4 and 8 spot for many seasons

Valerie Maloney from Laois is only down 1 spot 8th to 9th after a good season on tour.  Sandra Bryan from Wexford is down from 4th to 10 this season after missing a few events but is very capable of a top 4 place as has been the case over a number of years.  Stephanie Foley from Carlow is down from 6th to 11th due to having had to drop off the tour due to a shoulder injury, we hope she can get back on tour for the new season ahead.

Joanna Ward from Kildare is up from 15th to 12th this season and Tina Keogh from Offaly is holding 13th spot as last season.  Down from 3rd spot to 14th is Cathy Dunne from Dublin after missing a few events but as we know Cathy is very capable of a higher ranking. Jennifer Earle from Dublin dropped from 9th spot to 15th at the end of the season and is happy to qualify for the Championship while Lynda Curley from Offaly made it into the top 16 at 16th place, thus qualifying for the Championship in her first season on tour

We see Grushenka Arnold from Wicklow drop from 10th place to 28th and Louise Maher from Kilkenny down from 11th to 27th spot and Delia Keane from Dublin down from 16th spot to 19th at the end of the season

We congratulate Annette on her fantastic record and thank her for over 40 years of dedication and support towards Female Cue Sports.  We congratulate all our top 16 players for qualifying for the 2025 National Amateur Snooker Championship, well done to one and all.

Thanks to all our members who supported the tour during 2024-2025 season and we hope to see everyone and new faces during the new season
