A group of students from the Avanti School Kildare were introduced to snooker and billiards at the RILSA Academy Sharkx Newbridge recently

All the girls in particular were interested to know how the game is played.  Our coaches, Dan Carroll, Aidan Murray and Annette Newman were on hand to help out during the day at Sharkx

Everyone really enjoyed the experience as some never saw a full size snooker table before

We were delighted with the response and interest shown and we hope that these ladies will play cue sports into the future now that they are aware that cue sports are very much available to them

We will see more students attend the Academy in the coming weeks from the school
