At the other end of the draw Louise Maher from Kilkenny had a good 2 nil win over Veronica Hallahan from Dublin to advance and Cathy Dunne from Dublin like Annette had to dig deep against Lynda Curley from Offaly with their match 1-1 it would also come down to the colours with Cathy taking the 3rd frame to meet Louise in the semis

Cathy was delighted to win the Noel Murphy Shield. Noel was a avid support of ladies snooker for many years where he refereed all over the country helping RILSA on a regular basis. It is only right and fitting we remember Noel with the Shield in his name with the RILSA National Snooker Masters every year
Congratulations to Cathy on her win and well done to Annette on a fine performance. Thanks to all the ladies for their support and participation. Thanks to Bernie, Paul and staff of Sharkx for all their help and support
