Jackie Trulock from Dublin recently retained her RILBA National Intermediate Billiard Championship title in Newbridge. Jackie has improved greatly over the past season having won two of the 4 ranking events and runner up in the other two securing her the number 1 ranked Intermediate Billiard player in Ireland.
Her Championship win recently is a fitting end to a very successful season for Jackie
In the Championship itself Jackie Trulock from Dublin started well with a comfortable win over Brigid Mulvany also from Dublin in this round robin timed event. Veronica Hallahan from Dublin had a good win over the youngster Natalia Trochonowicz from Kildare in their match
The second session saw Jackie continue her good form against Veronica taking the win and Natalia had a good win over Brigid in their match.
The third session would see Natalie get the better of Jackie in a close match going all the way to the alarm with Natalia 4 points ahead 54-50. Veronica took the win against Brigid in their match
With the results in it was a three way tie, we then went to the overall scores and it would be Jackie and Natalia to play a timed final match for the title. In the final Jackie upped her scoring towards the final minutes to take the win on the alarm 72-44
Congratulations to Jackie on her win and retaining her title. Well done to Natalia on her runner up place and thanks to all the ladies for their participation and support.
Thanks to Bernie, Paul and staff of Sharkx for all their support
