Again this event was played before the lockdown and all guidelines were adhered to.
Joanna Ward won the 2nd National Intermediate Ranking of the 2020-2021 season at Sharkx Newbridge.
This is Joanna’s 3rd Intermediate win since joining in 2019, on her way to the final, she had to see off a good performance from Stephanie Foley to take the match on a pink ball to meet the ever improving Jennifer Earle.
The final was close all the way to the colours and after a bout of play with both players potting colours to the black, Jennifer had her chance to take the frame needed but it was not to be this time and Joanna took the frame and match to take her 3rd Intermediate Ranking win.
Congratulations to Joanna on her win and to Jennifer on a fine performance. Thanks to all the girls for their support and we look forward to seeing them all once the restrictions are eased. Thanks to Bernie, Paul and staff of Sharkx for their great support towards female cue sports.
