Sadie Daly won the Inaugural RILSA Kildare Junior Snooker Championship League Title recently after a number of weeks of Coaching followed by the league where the 10 girls participating played each other in the league comprising of 9 matches
All the girls really enjoyed the league. The Coaches Dan Carroll and Aidan Murray could see much improvement from the girls in their ability and overall development in cue sports which bodes well for the future of junior female snooker as we progress our promotions at grass root level
With Sadie taking her first ever title in Junior Snooker, she is very keen to practice more and get more involved over the summer months. Roisin Douglas was the runner up in the league followed by Elsie Whelan and Isabella Smith in 3rd and 4th place respectively
Aoife Martin, Anna Mulpeter, Sadhbh Simpson, Aoife Murphy, Lily O’Connor and Niamh Shannon all played very well throughout the league and we at RILSA are absolutely delighted to have all these young girls part of our Organisation
Congratulations to Sadie on her win and well done to Roisin on her runner up place, a big thank you to all the girls for their support and participation. Thanks to Dearbhail Dowling and all the teachers at the Holy Family Newbridge and especially the Principal Sarah Allen for her support in facilitating these young girls into cue sports
Thanks to Bernie, Paul and staff of Sharkx for all their help and support
