Our current National U21 Snooker Champion Qianhui Ye from Wicklow won the RILSA 1O Red Snooker Plate Competition at the Celbridge Snooker Club recently

At the prelim stage Veronica Hallahan from Dublin saw off a challenge from Natalia Trochonowicz to take the win on the colours for a place in the semis.  Qianhui Ye from Wicklow and our current National U21 Snooker Champion took the frame needed against Brigid Mulvany from Dublin to complete the semi final line up

In the semis Veronica Hallahan from Dublin kept up her good form and took the win against Grushenka Arnold from Wicklow for a place in the final and on the other table  Qianhui Ye from Wicklow took the win against Joanna Ward from Kildare to meet Veronica in the final

In the final Veronica had chances in the frame needed but Qianhui held firm and took blue to black to take the win

Congratulations to Qianhui on her win and well done to Veronica on a fine performance, thanks to all the ladies for their support and participation
