With the introduction of the Intermediate Championships and Ranking events, RILSA have seen a huge increase in the numbers of women and girls take to the sport of snooker over the past 9 years. This new initiative has been very successful as the various standards of players are catered for.
Women and girls who are only starting out playing the sport, can now enjoy it at their own level and if they wish to move up to Amateur level they can by improving over a period of time with help, encouragement and professional coaching that is now available to all our members from the coaching team at RILSA.
Congratulations to Stephanie Foley on regaining the number 1 spot. Tina Keogh is up in 2nd place from 6th last season. Valerie Maloney is up to 3rd from 12th last year and Jackie Trulock holds 4th spot up from 14th. Joanna Ward is down to 5th from 2nd last season and Delia Keane is in at 6th place in her first season on tour. Jennifer Earle has dropped from 4th to 7th and completing the top 8 is Grushenka Arnold down from 5th to 8th spot. Great to see so many newcomers improve their ranking in their second season on tour as we make progress in our developments.
