Cathy Dunne from Dublin won the RILSA Mary Raymond Snooker Cup at the RILSA Academy Sharkx Newbridge recently bringing her National Ranking Titles to 11 over the many years on the RILSA tour, Cathy also holds two National Amateur Snooker titles and a 10 Red Title to her list of achievements.
At the semi final stage of the event Cathy Dunne from Dublin had a good 2 nil win over Claire Mill from Dublin in a closely contested match. On the other table Annette Newman from Carlow overcame a good challenge from the youngster Qianhui Ye from Wicklow who is climbing the rankings this season on tour but Annette’s experience got her the win 2 frames to nil to meet Cathy in the final
In the final Cathy hit form and was on target on her scoring in the two frames needed to take the win against Annette who certainly gave her a run for her money, especially in the second frame.
