
After another very successful National Intermediate Snooker Ranking Tour, Christine Carr from Kildare won the final event of the 2025-2026 season making it a record 12 National Intermediate Snooker Ranking wins since 2014 with Tina Keogh from Offaly in a close second place with 10 ranking titles since 2014
At the Quarters stage Veronica Hallahan from Dublin took the frame needed against Brigid Mulvany also from Dublin to advance to the semis and the youngster Anna McKeown from Monaghan had a black ball finish against the current U21 Champion Qianhui Ye to make it through to the semis
In the Semis another youngster Natalia Trochonowicz from Kildare saw off a challenge by Veronica Hallahan from Dublin for a place in the final and on the other table Christine Carr from Kildare would see off Anna McKeown from Monaghan in the frame needed to meet Natalia in the final
In the final Natalia had chances against Christine, however Christine’s experience showed towards the final colours to pick them off to win the frame needed and take the win on the day
Congratulations to Christine on her win and well done to Natalia on her runner up place
