Congratulations to all our ladies who represented Ireland at the recent European Pool Championships in Malta.
Louise Maher reached the last 16 of the singles event and Sandra Bryan reached the Quarter Finals, Helena Melly also got to the Quarter Finals while Kim O’Brien a former Champion on two occasions got to the final, what an achievement for our girls, well done to one and all
In the Team event, both our A and B teams did very well indeed with the B team of Suzanne Randle, Katie Kiernan, Mini Morris, Anne Keville, Gemma Masterson and Edina Mulrennan just missed out of a semi final placing, however the A Team of Mary Duffy Lowbridge, Sandra Bryan, Carrie Randle, Megan Randle, Louise Maher, Kim O’Brien and Helena Melly reached the semi finals just to lose out to a strong England Team.
