Jennifer Earle from Dublin has retained her RILSA National U21 Snooker Title at the RILSA Academy Sharkx Newbridge recently and in doing so makes it three in a row, a fantastic achievement for her
At the Quarter final stage Jennifer Earle from Dublin and representing Maynooth College went through to the Semis over Sadie Daly from Kildare who was representing the Holy Family School Newbridge. Sadhbh Simpson also from Kildare and representing the Holy Family School took the win over Elsie Whelan from Kildare and representing the Holy Family School to meet Jennifer in the semis
At the other end of the draw Roisin Douglas from Kildare and representing the Holy Family School took the win over Anna Mulpeter also from Kildare and the Holy Family School. Savannah Keane from Dublin and representing Rosemount School took the win over Isabella Smith from the Holy Family to meet Roisin in the semis
Jennifer played well against Sadhbh and won the frame needed to advance to her 3rd U21 National Final. Savannah who was a semi finalist last time out went one better and took the win over Roisin to meet Jennifer in the final
The final itself was close for the most part with the scores close going down to the colours, however Jennifer played well to take the colours and the frame needed to retain her National U21 Snooker Title
Congratulations to Jennifer on her win and well done to Savannah on her fine performance. Thanks to all the girls for their participation and support. Thanks to our teachers and especially Dearbhail Dowling from the Holy Family School Newbridge for all her support and dedication to helping young girls into cue sports and the rewards are starting to grow for the students at the Holy Family School
Thanks to Dave Earle and Delia Keane who officiated throughout the day and thanks to Bernie, Paul and staff of Sharkx for all their support as always
