Louise Maher from Kilkenny retained her National RILPA Pool Championship Title at Sharkx Newbridge recently. This is Louise’s 3rd year in a row that she won this title, a great achievement for her
At the semi final stage of the event Louise Maher from Kilkenny had to call on her vast experience on the Pool tour to get past Delia Keane from Dublin with the match 2-2 it came down to the last frame, which Louise won to advance to the final
On the other table Veronica Hallahan from Dublin like Louise had to wait for the 5th and final frame to get over the line against Christine Carr from Kildare to meet Louise in the Final
In the final both players kept close for the first 4 frames sharing them 2-2 however Louise stepped up a gear to take the next two frames to take the RILPA National Pool Championship Title for the 3rd year in a row

We will compile a RILPA Ranking list going over the past three years with the possibility of holding a few Pool Ranking events during 2025 where we will be selecting players from for future International Competitions
