Christine Carr from Kildare won the recent RILPA National Pool Ranking event of the season giving her 2 wins out of 4 having been runner in the other two events. Christine now finished the 2026 season as RILPA Irish number 1 more to follow on this at a later date
In group 1 Colette Cribben from Kildare had a 2 nil result over Jess Curran also from Kildare and Sophie Tyrrell from Carlow had a 2 nil win over Brigid Mulvany from Dublin
In group 2 Christine Carr from Kildare got off to a good start with a 2 nil win over Jackie Trulock from Dublin and Tina Keogh from Offaly had a draw against Veronica Hallahan from Dublin in their match
The second round robin events saw in group 1 Sophie have a 2 nil win over Jess and Colette had a 2 nil win over Brigid in their match
Group 2 saw both matches draw Christine 1 Veronica 1 and Tina 1 Jackie 1
The 3rd and final round robin matches saw Brigid get a 2 nil win over Jess and Colette and Sophie had a draw 1-1 in their match with both Sophie and Colette now level on points it would come down to a 1 frame decider and Colette took the frame needed for her first ever place in a final on the RILPA tour
Group 2 saw matches once more finish in a draw Christine 1 Tina 1 and Jackie 1 Veronica 1 after the points were added it would be Christine to take the group win and a meeting with Colette in the final
The final saw Colette take the first with Christine coming back to level the match 1-1 it would go all the way to a black ball finish with Colette having a few chances to take it but Christine held firm and potted the black for the win
