Female Cue Sports Ireland Welcome another group of girls that joined the Organisation from the Holy Family School in Newbridge.
The girls attended a day’s coaching at the RILSA Academy Sharkx Newbridge where they were introduced to the basic rules of Snooker and Billiards. They were given demonstrations in forming the bridge, grip, stance and striking the cue ball in the centre
The girls in attendance will return again in 2026 for further coaching as they really enjoyed their time at their National Academy in Sharkx.
Our development at School level is gaining momentum each month and the interest among young girls is certainly growing.
90% of these girls have never played cue sports before and through our initiatives, encouraging and supporting young girls both at our Academy in Newbridge, our coaches, teachers at school level are helping the girls to grow in confidence and that cue sports is as much for them as anyone else.
We at Female Cue Sports Ireland welcome all these young ladies to our organisation and we are delighted to have them on board
