Fergal O’Brien our Professional Snooker Player on the WPBSA tour and making great strides in Coaching, gave another coaching workshop at the RILSA Academy Sharkx Newbridge recently.

As always Fergal provide excellent information and demonstrations to those in attendance.  Fergal concentrated on practice routines outlining positional play to our seasoned players and for those just starting out Fergal went through the basics in bridge, grip and striking the cue ball in the centre

Fergal is a great asset to our Organisation going forward and we are certain he will play a vital role in our future development.  Increasing the standard of play is a goal of ours as we progress over the next few years, especially with our school/college developments

All in attendance were delighted with the workshop and are eager to advance their standard of play through practice in the future.  We look forward to seeing Fergal again in the near future and we wish him well and great success in his retirement at the end of the season on tour.

This certainly won’t be the last we hear of Fergal as he takes another road on the snooker scene through coaching and what ever he decides to take on in the future, we wish him all the very best and look forward to seeing him soon.
