World Snooker Coach Dan Carroll held a Coaching workshop at the RILSA Academy Sharkx recently.  the day consisted of a refresher session on the basics of the game such as Bridge Hand, Grip, Stance, cue action and delivering the cue straight through the cue ball.

Dan went through alignment and checked everyone’s sighting

After an hour or so it’s was very evident that those ladies in attendance were beginning to walk in on the correct line while forming the stance, bridge and delivering the cue straight.

As like everything sporting, practice makes perfect, so it is now up the the ladies to go away with the knowledge they have and practice the routines that were shown on the day

Our newest introductory coaches in Jackie Trulock and Veronica Hallahan were delighted with the session and will take away the new found knowledge and while practicing themselves can impart their knowledge to others looking to take up cue sports

We are delighted to welcome sisters Qianhui Ye and Quiyan Ye who showed great interest and are very interested in improving and learning all about both snooker and billiards.  They certainly have the potential and we are delighted to have them on board

Well done to all the ladies who participated on the day and we look forward to seeing them again very soon
