Valerie Maloney from Laois won the recent National Intermediate Snooker Ranking event of the season with a good 2-1 win over Christine Carr from Kildare, this is Valerie’s second win on the tour this season.
This win for Valerie puts her back into number 2 spot on the rankings while Christine is back up to number 1 provisionally for both players
Jackie Trulock from Dublin and Lynda Curley from Offaly both won their first ever National Intermediate Snooker Ranking events this season which is great for any female taking up the sport as the various levels are developed by the Organisation over the past 10 years
