World Snooker Coach Fin Ruane joined the Coaching Team at RILSA recently.  We are delighted to have Fin on board, his vast knowledge of cue sports will certainly add to our developments and promotions as we move into a new era for female cue sports here in Ireland.

Along with World Snooker Coach Dan Carroll and World Billiards Coach Aidan Murray, the team will be much stronger based in helping our players develop their skills and enjoy cue sports more, which in turn will help increase participation.

Fin is a level 2 qualified World Snooker Coach, the highest level we have in Ireland at present, this can only be good for the sport and it would be great to see more interested people becoming qualified coaches in the future.

Fin mainly works out of his club, Crossguns in Dublin ,which incidentally, is the oldest commercial club in Ireland, opened its doors on Easter Sunday 1958 and was one of two clubs to welcome females at that time in Ireland.

We at RILSA are looking forward to working with Fin and holding events at Crossguns in the future and we thank him for his help and support.
