Carrie Randle from Wicklow won the 10 Red Plate Competition at the RILSA Academy recently.  The event was played on a 1 frame knockout basis due to the current situation.

Jennifer Earle from Dublin was in great form taking wins over Joanna Ward from Kildare in the quarters and Christine Carr from Kildare in the semis to reach the final.

Carrie Randle also playing well saw off Stephanie Foley from Carlow in their quarter final match and again took the win over Valerie Maloney from Laois in the semis to meet Jennifer in the final

In the final both players were keeping the scores close for the most part but when it came down to the colours it was Carrie who would eventually pot the pink for frame and match to take the title of 10 Red Plate winner

Congratulations to Carrie on her win and well done to Jennifer on her fine performance.  Thanks to all the girls for their support as always and thanks to Bernie, Paul and staff of Sharkx for their continued support towards female cue sports
