Annette Newman from Carlow finished the 2026 RILBA National Amateur Billiards Season ranked number 1 in Ireland for a record 11th season in a row, an amazing achievement for the Carlow Woman
Finishing in number 2 spot is Christine Carr from Kildare and like Annette, she is Ireland’s number 2 Billiard Ranked player for a record 11th Season
Annette dominated the tour winning 5 out of the 6 ranking events continuing her dominance on the RILBA tour breaking her record every year and in doing so making it very difficult to break in the future
Annette finished with 15,200 points with Christine in number 2 place on 12,800 points. In 3rd place after a great season is Veronica Hallahan from Dublin on 9,400 points and finishing in 4th place is Joanna Ward from Kildare on 7,200 points
Staying in the top 8 by season’s end is Jackie Trulock from Dublin at number 5 on the rankings on 7,000 points following in 6th spot is Brigid Mulvany from Dublin on 6,600 points, 7th place on the rankings is Natalia Trochonowicz from Kildare on 6,100 points and making it into the top 8 in her first season on tour is Jessica Curran from Kildare at 8th place on 2,800 points
