Annette Newman from Carlow continued her winning streak on the Main National Amateur Billiards Tour with her 4th win in a row recently at the RILSA Academy Sharkx Newbridge,
In session 1 Annette Newman from Carlow played well against Valerie Maloney from Laois finishing on the alarm 50-27. Christine Carr from Kildare was in good form against the improving Tina Keogh from Offaly to take the win as the clock ticked down 42-36
Session 2 would see Christine continue her good form with a win over Jennifer Earle from Dublin 41-25 on the alarm while Tina improved her scoring against Valerie to take the win 50-25
Session 3 would see Annette continue her good form against Tina finishing on the alarm 54-42 while Valerie would take her first win of the evening over Jennifer in a close match 32-28
In session 4 Annette upped her game against Jennifer finishing on the alarm 78-20 while Valerie would see off Christine in another close encounter 38-35 to take her second win of the event.
Session 5 saw Annette continue her winning streak to take the match against Christine 77-33 while Tina scored well against Jennifer to take the win 61-21
When the scores were tallied, Annette would take the win with 259 points with Tina taking runner up spot with 189, Christine in 3rd on 151 and Valerie in 4th place on 117
