Annette Newman from Carlow continued her dominance on the National Amateur Billiards Tour by winning her 4th National Ranking event The Sharkx Masters in a row
In this timed knockout event Veronica Hallahan from Dublin saw off Brigid Mulvany also from Dublin 90-25 in their prelim match
At the semi final stage Annette Newman from Carlow scored heavy when at the table against Veronica Hallahan from Dublin and finished on the alarm 166 – 62
On the other table Christine Carr from Kildare was in fine form against Jackie Trulock from Dublin and took the win on the alarm 100-68 to meet Annette in the final
The final saw both players keep close on points for the most part however Annette got into her stride in the final 15 minutes to close out the match against Christine on the alarm 120 – 84
