Sandra Bryan from Wexford won the National Ladies Snooker Masters Championship at the RILSA Academy Sharkx recently, this is her 4th time to win this event, a great achievement for the Wexford woman

At the Quarter Final stage Sandra Bryan from Wexford had a close encounter with Stephanie Foley from Carlow who pushed her all the way to the colours in the 3rd frame but Sandra took the win 2 frames to nil.  Grushenka Arnold from Dublin had a good 2-1 win over Tina Keogh to advance to the semi finals in a very close match.  Joanna Ward from Kildare had a close match against Valerie Maloney from Laois to get through with a 2 nil win.  Annette Newman from Carlow saw off Delia Keane from Dublin with a good 2 nil win to complete the semi final line up

In the Semis Sandra proved the stronger in her match with Grushenka and took the win 2 frames to nil to reach the final and likewise on the other table Annette was the stronger on the day against Joanna and took the win 2 nil to meet Sandra in the final

In the final both players played a great tactical game with Sandra taking the first frame on the black and again the second frame went down to a pink ball with Sandra taking it and the title of RILSA ladies Masters Champion 2023

Congratulations to Sandra on her win and well done to Annette on a fine performance.  Thanks to all the ladies for their support as always and thanks to Dave who officiated throughout the day and refereed the final

Thanks to Bernie, Paul and staff of Sharkx for all their support towards female cue sports
