Danielle O’Brien from St Marks Newbridge is the new National Special Needs number 1 ranked player for 2023.  After her successful National Special Needs Snooker Championship title win recently, she was catapulted straight in as the new number 1 in Ireland.

Emma Daly is number 2, Abbie Thompson in 3rd and Fiona Carr in 4th spot, all top 4 from St Marks Special Needs School in Newbridge.  While the top 24 players on the list are from St Marks, we have 5 players from St Laserian’s in Carlow still in the top 32

Congratulations to Danielle on her number 1 Ranking place and well done to all the girls for their support and participation.

As we get back to our developments and promotions at the Special Needs Schools in 2023, we will see the list increase and player position change over the coming months.
