FCJ Bunclody Co Wexford is one of our Schools developing and promoting Female Cue Sports over a number of years.

With the installation of tables at the School, a new emphases on further increasing participation among young girls is currently underway.

Brendan Daly the Principal is an avid supporter of cue sports and is very much backing our initiatives.  Ciara Doyle and Hilary Fitzgerald are our new female cue sports coaches at the School and are very busy organising and helping to encourage young girls who wish to take up cue sports

Currently Ciara and Hillary have set up a league in the school with 20 young girls signed up.  Some of these girls will qualify to our National underage Championships during 2025 and we look forward to seeing them enjoy cue sports weather they just play for fun or take part in competition in the future

Dan Carroll and Annette Newman visited the School recently and gave a coaching workshop to the girls at the School.  The workshop was well received with great interest from the girls.

The School will help Female Cue Sports Ireland develop and improve standards in cue sports going forward.  Ciara and Hilary with the support from Brendan and us at Female Cue Sports Ireland will see this come to fruition in the near future.

Thanks to Brendan, Ciara, Hilary and all the teachers and students at FCJ for their dedication and support.  We wish them well in their endeavours
