Over 2000 students from around the country gathered at the National Indoor Arena for the 11th annual Dare to Believe PEXpo, sponsored by Allianz.
This is a key activation for the Olympic Federation of Ireland’s school programme, Dare to Believe, and a significant event on the secondary school calendar.
It is one of the most inspiring days of the year. To see the level of work and imagination that goes into the projects from 300 schools is to solidify your belief that the future is in safe hands.
The team of teachers and supporters that have grown the PExpo from its beginnings in Trinity Comprehensive in Ballymun can have taken immense pride in what it has become, and there is plenty of scope for growing further in the sports equivalent of the Young Scientist Exhibition.
Thanks to Paddy O’Reilly of Trinity Comprehensive Ballymun and Lindie Naughton for the invite, we are already looking forward to 2026. Thanks to Ger Dunphy for his help and support in supplying a table for the event.
Thanks to our Board members Delia Keane and Joanna Ward who helped out throughout the day and our young players Natalia Trochonowicz, Qianhui Ye and Savannah Keane who showcased Female Cue Sports to a large audience of students that surrounded our stand
We received interest in cue sports from over 200 young girls, many trying out the table in groups of 4 throughout the day. We were delighted to see Orla Comerford take to the green baize, she really enjoyed taking part and wished Female Cue Sports Ireland every success
